Victorian Pocket Watch Chain Big Tassel Fob 1890 Antique Rose & Yellow Gilt Fob

  

Gentleman's highly impressive and very ornate Victorian rose and yellow gilt Antique pocket watch chain long tassel fob. Similar to the fobs I have supplied to Pinewood Studios. (Would also make a Ladies super pendant).

(Please excuse the reflections in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph). Measures; 11cm / 4 1/4 height (including the top ring) and weighs a very respectable 8.2 grams. Wonderful engine turned, triangular shaped yellow gilt mount with a raised triangular shaped un-engraved cartouche to centre (same to both sides) holding two strands of rope link chain - again with a triangular shaped mount to base which matches with the one above. Below this is a highly polished, slightly textured yellow gilt ball (measures 1.1cm diameter) which is decorated with slightly raised rose gilt daisy flowers all around.

Following down from this is a yellow gilt beehive mount holding six strands of herringbone link tassels. Original top ring to attach to a Gentleman's pocket watch chain or Ladies bracelet / necklace. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage and just a little bit of extremely light overall wear / patina (showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age. Will arrive in a new velvet presentation pouch and be very securely and safely packed.
