Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 1890s Antique Brass Fancy Link Albert With T Bar

  

Superb Victorian Gentleman's large and highly impressive, fancy'fetter' link Antique brass (pale blonde) German pocket watch chain/Albert with original big stamped dog clip and large ornate T bar. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. (Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was extremely difficult to photograph).

Measures; 23cm / 9 total length and weighs a heavy 34.9 grams. Chunky brass roller links which are interspersed with three big and extremely ornate Arts & Crafts style'fetter' links (each measures 3cm length x 7mm width) - all links have a lovely'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully.

All three of the'fetter' links are adorned (and intact) with unusual bar and ball decorations within. Robust big original secure dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is clearly stamped with the makers initials; B&D and large original highly ornate T bar to the other end which measures; 4.5cm length. The larger round link below the T Bar is clearly stamped to one side; GESETZLICH GESCHUGTZT (Quality Guaranteed). Also has a short length of roller link chain just below the T bar - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent clean and bright condition with no wear, few tiny indentations (none detract but mentioning for accuracy) and just a little (micro) bit of overall patina/light surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age. Will arrive in a new presentation box and be very securely and safely packed. Please view my feedback as guarantee of my integrity.
