Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 1890s Antique 12ct Gold Filled Fancy Albert & T Bar

  

Victorian Gentleman's large and highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) gold filled known in the U. K as rolled gold, very fancy Antique pocket watch chain / Albert with large T bar, secure stamped dog clip and two ornate ball links to centre. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. Me asures; 33.5cm / 13 1/4 total length and weighs a very respectable 23.7 grams.

Bright crisp chunky roller links which are intersperced with two extremely ornate puffy cylindrical ball links (each measures 2.2cm length x 1cm diameter) - all have a lovely'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Robust and well made secure dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is clearly stamped (within an oblong shaped, recessed cartouche); TH - Thomas Hopwood and large T bar to the other end which measures 4.2cm length. Also has a short length of roller link chain just below the T bar with original round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.

Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no wear, just one extremely tiny (micro) little'nick' to one of the ball links (looks like someone once tested it to see if solid gold) and small bit of overall patina (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
