Victorian Gentleman's absolutely magnificent, large and highly impressive 12ct (professionally tested) gold filled known in the U. K as rolled gold, traditional chunky graduated curb link Antique'Thomas Hopwood' pocket watch chain / Albert with original stamped dog clip and original big stamped T bar. Very rare nowdays to find one complete with all its original fittings.

Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. Me asures; 30.5cm / 12 total length and weighs a heavy 40.3 grams. Bright crisp chunky traditional graduated curb links (measure 8mm width to centre and taper down each side to 5mm width) - all have a lovely'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. One of the large central links is clearly stamped (within an oval shaped, recessed cartouche) with the makers initials; TH - Thomas Hopwood, Birmingham, England. Robust and well made original dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which again clearly is stamped within an oval shaped, recessed cartouche; TH and large original T bar (measures 3.9cm length) correctly stamped with the makers initials; TH. Also has a short length of curb link chain just below the T bar with original big round link to end - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired. Excellent bright clean condition with absolutely no wear or damage - looks to have had very little (if any) use.
