Victorian Pocket Watch Chain 1876 Antique USA Large Brass Fancy Albert & T Bar

  
Superb Victorian Gentleman's very unusual fancy paperclip and flower link Antique American pale blonde brass pocket watch chain/Albert with original big stamped swivel dog clip and large original stamped T bar. Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 29cm / 11 1/2 total length and weighs a very respectable 18.2 grams.

Chunky paperclip links (measure 1.1cm length x 4mm width) which are interspersed with highly attractive engine turned daisy links - all have a lovely'fluid' feel to them, reflecting the light beautifully. Robust big original swivel engine turned dog clip to one end (operates correctly) which is clearly stamped with the makers initials; O. Original very large ornate engine turned T bar (measures 4.3cm length) to the other end which is stamped to one side (somewhat rubbed); PAT.

1876 (Patented February 21st 1876) and carries a trade symbol of a capital letter J within a diamond shaped recessed cartouche to the other side. Also has a short length of paperclip and flower link chain just below the T bar - so allowing the wearer to display a fob if desired.

Excellent clean bright condition with no wear or damage and just a tiny bit of overall patina / little surface scratches (all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
