Victorian 1890s Pocket Watch Chain Antique 12ct Rose Gold Filled Fancy Albert

  

Victorian Gentleman's highly impressive 12ct (tested on a professional gold tester) rose gold filled (has a lovely rich pink hue and is known in the UK as rolled gold), very ornate'love heart' link Antique pocket watch chain/Albert (probably French) with swivel dog clip and chunky bolt ring. Would also make a Ladies very unusual bracelet.

Similar to the pocket watch chain I have supplied to'Peaky Blinders'. Measures; 23cm / 9 total length and weighs a very respectable 19.4 grams. Highly unusual faceted'love heart' links to each side (measure 9mm width) with faceted engine turned and alternating smooth highly polished roller links to centre - all have a lovely'fluid' feel to them and reflect the light beautifully.

Original swivel dog clip to one end (operated correctly and note the attractive engine turned collar) and original big chunky bolt ring to the other end (again operates correctly) which measures 2cm diameter. Excellent clean and bright condition with no damage, just a tiny bit of extremely light overall wear/patina/little surface scratches (predominately to the dog clip and all showing under eyeglass only) commensurate with age.
