Our Double Albert-style pocket watch chains are created from 4 lengths (2 long and 2 short segments) of your chosen chain-link style which are then attached to each other via either a center connector ring or a cloverleaf-style connector. This chain will be finished on the end of both the long sections with a single heavy swivel with secure interior latch, typically one will be used to secure to the bow of your watch while the other can support a heavier item such as a pocket watch knife, small compass or other similar implements. For the short chain sections, one chain length will then be finished with a 44mm long solid bar with a smooth polish finish with a slightly raised triple-band cuff-style center detail that extends to the sturdy connector loop, while the final shorter "drop" chain length will be finished with a small spring ring in order to facilitate the easy addition and removal of decorative fobs. The noted length of our Double Albert pocket watch chains is the approximate length of the chain when measured from swivel to swivel. Due to the multiple finding types we offer, all of our photos above are simply shown using our spring ring style primary finding and the center ring connector secondary finding. Depending on the style you are looking to create with your chain, we offer that for someone with a slender build or short to average height, you can expect the shown item to hang off your person similar to the photo. As a rule of thumb, on an average-build male, we suggest Double Albert style chains 20" or shorter for heights under 5'8", 18" to 30" for heights 5'8" to 6'2" and 24" or longer for heights over 6'2".
