A simply fantastic RARE & EARLY piece of California VICTORIAN era GOLD & GOLD IN QUARTZ pocket watch chain and fob. The overall original contrition of the inlay is spectacular considering age and use. The fob is a unique triangular bodied solid piece of gold and Quartz rock with rich gold matrix at every angle. The fine craftsmanship gives way to a elegant look that would add GOLD RUSH era CALIFORNIA beauty to just about any pocket watch. The only mentionable flaw is a small piece of Quartz is broken out of the chains T-BAR.

Couldnt ask for something this old to be perfect. The gold itself is tested 10-14k SOLID gold on the chain and top part of the fob (NOT GOLD FILLED). Would make an excellent addition to ANY collection as a stand-alone or attach to a pocket watch. These very SELDOM appear for sale. This piece hails from an old estate collection.
