Antique 19th Century Vienna, Austria 750 Silver Pocket Watch Chain & Coin Fob. This stunningly massive and heavy pocket watch chain was made in the mid 1800s in Vienna, Austria and features thick hand hammered chain links, a ring closure on one side, and a lobster clasp on the other. The fob is a large silver coin of the Austro-Hungarian empire.
This stylish piece measures 16 long (chain) and weighs. Stamped with several "lion head" hallmarks identifying the chain as Austro-Hungarian made of 750 silver (75% silver). The coin is a 900 (90%) silver 2 Florin piece from 1879 commemorating the marriage of Franz Josef I with Elizabetha X.
