This is a superb 9ct rose gold pocket watch chain which has a rose gold matching masonic fob of square & compasses together with an original George II gilded shilling from 1745 which is in a remarkable condition and at first sight appears to be a guinea because it has been gold gilded. Measurements:the chain measures 37 cms long or 11 inches.
The masonic fob measures 2. The coin measures 2.5 cms in diameter. Weight: total weight 22 grams of which the coin weighs 6 grams.
The chain is marked 9ct gold each of the links and the crab claw bears the same hallmark a good sign of being original and a good sign of quality.
